Oakland A’s Game

Teacher Wayne took a group of 10 IIC students to an Oakland A’s baseball game on June 28th. Baseball is an integral part of sports culture and is considered America’s favorite pastime.  For some IIC students this was their first time experiencing an American baseball game.  Although the A’s got swept by the Kansas City Royals with a 3-game loss, it was still a memorable and fun experience, with plenty of free food and a special giveaway for those who attended.
