B1 Reading/Writing


This course offers students the opportunity to develop receptive, productive and interactive skills. The focus is on reading and writing with an emphasis on vocabulary in context A secondary focus is on grammar, which will be taught through both an embedded and grammar-focused approach.Students will receive multiple opportunities to use English to communicate in and about a variety of familiar topics and deal with increasingly unfamiliar or non-routine topics. Students will engage in a variety of reading and writing activities at a low-intermediate level (B1) within the personal, public, and occupational domains.
